American Film Institute graduate Arne Olsen has had 14 movies produced including MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS:THE MOVIE for 20TH Century Fox, COP AND A HALF for Universal, ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN II for MGM and the 2018 Voltage Pictures paranoid-thriller DISTORTED starring Christina Ricci and John Cusack. Universal bough his action pitch RAPID FIRE and two of his specs have sold in prominent bidding wars; the horror-comedy DRAKE DIAMOND:EXORCIST FOR HIRE to Warner Brothers and COP AND A HALF to Universal. He wrote and directed HERE' TO LIFE (Eric McCormack, Kim Hunter, James Whitmore, Ozzie Davis) which was nominated for 9 Genies, winning one. He wrote the pilot ESCAPE FROM ATLANTIS for Starz/Encore as well as an episode of RELIC HUNTER. In 2011, he was nominated for a best screenplay LEO for the TIFF special presentation, REPEATERS. Arne has three movies in active development: the thriller SKYBORNE with Copperheart Entertainment, the animated feature SNOWBOT with Sepia Films and the animated feature ZODIACATION with China's Shinework Media. Additionally Arne has been hired to write, rewrite and polish screenplays for MGM/UA, INTERSCOPE, INFINITY, RHI ENTERTAINMENT, MUSE ENTERTAINMENT, RAINMAKERs REUNION PICTURES and RAMPAGE among many others. Arne has taught screenwriting at Capilano University, VFS and PRAXIS and has been a story editor/consultant on dozens of produced features.
